I’m sure that a lot of you that download episodes of subbed anime have been told that you need to install a certain media player to view the new popular mkv file format. Well, if you are like me and don’t like having extra media players just to play one file, there is another option. You can go the the website Http://www.free-codecs.com and download one of the K-lite codec packs.
Install this and you will be able to view almost any type of video format. The pack also comes w/ media player classic, wich you can select to not install if you like, it looks like the windows media player from windows 9x. If you don’t like using realplayer or quicktime… there are also alternatives to those programs as well on the website. Once you have the codec pack installed you can view your anime in regular windows media player. I hope you find this information helpful.
